Amazing show!
First off, one of the best shows I have ever seen! She really throws herself into being a performer and a perfectionist. The long show and long wait for her to start... so very long, Madonna did not start til 10:30 and went for 3 hours. The venue opened at 7.
I saw her in Nashville and was worried that all the CRAZYS in the south (where I actually live-- Nashville) with their one dimensional non-researched view of Christianity and religion would flip it during the performance of "Holy Water" due to the content being rather adult in nature and "controversial" with religious themes. However, there was the song Devil Prey that warned of impulsive behavior (using drugs.. etc) and how one would become lost if engaging in those behaviors and become influenced by evil-- "the devil will prey." I can definitely see how someone could be offended by that particular song or performance.
Overall.. I think she is a very interesting artist and the show should be seen and critiqued as a whole with an open mind and objective standpoint.
